Buwan ng Wika

     Ano ang wika?Ang Wika ay isang likas at makataong pamamaraan ng paghahatid ng mga kaisipan,damdamin at mithiin sa pamamagitan ng isang kusang-loob na kaparaanan na lumilikha ng tunog.Isang salita na may apat na Letra ngunit ito'y napakahalaga.Ang kahulugan at katangian nito ay napakalawak at napakalalim.Ang Wika rin ay isang sagisag ng pambansang pagkakakilanlan sa buong mundo.

      Tayong mga Pilipino ating pinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika ngayong buwan ng Agosto na may Temang:Wikang Filipino,Wika ng Saliksik.Ito ay isang pagdiriwang na kung saan tayo'y nagtitipon-tipon at nagkakaisa para ipakita sa buong mundo na ang Wika ay mahalaga at atin pa rin minamahal.Pero ano nga ba ang kahalagahan ng Wika para sa atin?Ang wika ay sadyang napakahalaga dahil maging sa ibang bansa ay ginagamit nila ang kanilang sariling wika.Pero tayong mga Pilipino,marami man ang wikang ating ginagamit iisa lamang ang ating nakasanayang gamitin at ito ay ang Wikang Filipino.Ipakita natin sa buong mundo kung gaano kalawak ang ating sariling kaalaman sa pagpapahalaga ng ating sariling wika upang ang susunod na henerasyon ay maging responsable sa paggamit ng ating sariling wika .Atin ding mahalin ang ating wika dahil ang wika ang dahilan kung bakit tayo'y nagkakaintindihan.Ika nga ni Dr.Jose Rizal,"Ang hindi marunong magmahal Sa sariling wika ay mas masahol pa sa malansang Isda".Kaya dapat marunong tayong magmahal at gumamit sa sarili nating wika.Ito ang daan sa ating kaunlaran at kapayapaan.

       Tayong mga mamamayang Pilipino,atin ng ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika dahil nakilala tayong mga Pilipino dahil sa ating wika.Kung ano ang wika mo ay siyang pagkatao mo,kaya kung mahal mo ang pagkatao mo,mahalin mo rin ang wika mo.Ang ating wika ay sumisimbolo ng ating pagka Pilipino.Kaya ikaw,ako,tayo,sabay-sabay nating mahalin at itayo ang ating bandera.Ang bandera nating mga Pilipino.

Kannawidan: Reliving History of Ilocos

              Kannawidan is an event held in Vigan to celebrate the separation of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, It is held on the last week of January to the first week of February. It includes the cause of events in the commemoration of the foundation day of the province.               Kannawidan is a Festival for all Ilocanos which showcases historical traditions of Ilocos.
