            Nutrition is one of the things that keep us healthy. Proper nutrition is one of the most essential elements to being healthy and living a long life, but what is Nutrition? Nutrition is the relationship of foods to the health of the human body. Proper nutrition means that you are receiving enough foods and supplements for the body to function at optimal capacity.

           What we eat becomes our diet, and our diet plays a major role in deciding how healthy we are and how well our body functions. Without proper diet, our body cannot carry out the functions it needs to perform. Eating a balanced diet is vital for good health and well being. We need a wide variety of different foods to provide the right amounts of nutrients for good health. Diseases are not fun to have, so learning about what types of food to watch out for and need is very important. Having a healthful lifestyle is being disease free and a health body.

          Nutrition are the essentials in living a healthy life. Everyone needs to eat, there are so many types of food, so choosing the right types of food is very important. Understanding what kinds of food to eat will help me live a healthy life now and in the future. Eating the right food on a daily basis, is going to help me eat healthy. Having enough nutrients is very important because some of the food you eat can affect your health, prevent you from having diseases.

ISNHS Foundation Day

          Ilocos Sur National High School just celebrated its 117th Annual Foundation Day. This school has been around for so long that the school just has to celebrate its success and to commemorate the founding of the school.           This year's celebration was held on the 1st and 2nd day of March. The celebration was a blast and almost all of the students enjoyed it. Pretty much all the students enjoy Foundation day as if it was their birthday. Before the foundation day, a lot of preparations are made. All the rooms completely cleaned, decorate all the buildings with tassels and banners, balloons etc. And we cant forget about the preparation of the field demo where all the students and teachers get to part take in a dance for each grade level to celebrate Foundation day.
