Our Beloved Teachers

                 Teachers are the ones who guide us to success, they do what ever it takes to teach us, to make sure we learn about everything that we needed to know. That is why they also deserve a day for them to be cherished and loved for the hard work they do for our sake. And yes they may be mean and very cruel sometimes but they do that for our own good just to discipline us and to make us better human beings as we are in our very young age.

                 Many students despise their teachers because of how bad the way their teachers treat them and how they are mean, but that doesn't justify a teacher's personality, they do that because they love us, they want us to be better students. And that is why teachers deserve a day, A day of happiness for the teachers and loved and take a break for all hard work they put into. "Gurong Pilipino; Turo mo Kinabukasan Ko" This theme says it all, all their teachings and their sacrifices are all for us in order to lead us to success. They dont just do it because its their job, they do it for the future of those people who need education.
             
                 We students should appreciate their hard work and sacrifices. Our hard times struggling making lots of homework and taking tests in school doesn't only apply to us students, teachers also struggle once in a while, a full day of teaching everyday with less breaks. That's why we should learn to appreciate them. And I'm greatful for thankful for the teachers who thought me everything I needed to know and for the knowledge they have given me.

Kannawidan: Reliving History of Ilocos

              Kannawidan is an event held in Vigan to celebrate the separation of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, It is held on the last week of January to the first week of February. It includes the cause of events in the commemoration of the foundation day of the province.               Kannawidan is a Festival for all Ilocanos which showcases historical traditions of Ilocos. The festival hold various events which includes street dancing, food festivals and many more. The festival is also a show of the province’s trade and agriculture products, and is a livelihood training ground for women and students through the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Agriculture. ISNHS Foundation Day

          Ilocos Sur National High School just celebrated its 117th Annual Foundation Day. This school has been around for so long that the school just has to celebrate its success and to commemorate the founding of the school.           This year's celebration was held on the 1st and 2nd day of March. The celebration was a blast and almost all of the students enjoyed it. Pretty much all the students enjoy Foundation day as if it was their birthday. Before the foundation day, a lot of preparations are made. All the rooms completely cleaned, decorate all the buildings with tassels and banners, balloons etc. And we cant forget about the preparation of the field demo where all the students and teachers get to part take in a dance for each grade level to celebrate Foundation day.
